Chocolate Whoopie Pie

Ingredients 

1 (12 ounce) package chocolate cake mix
100ml water
50 grams all-purpose flour, sifted
100ml milk
50 grams shortening
50 grams white sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Methods

•  Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and butter the cookies sheet.
•  For the cake, Combine the chocolate cake mix with water and stir well.
•  Place the batter 2-inch apart on the greased baking sheet. Place into the preheated oven and bake it for 15 to 18 minutes.
•  Remove the cakes out from the oven and let it cool to room temperature. Set aside.
•  For the filling, combine the milk with flour and use the low heat to cook until it forms a thick paste.
•  In another bowl, combine the sugar, vanilla and shortening until light and fluffy. And then, pour the flour mixture into vanilla mixture and stir well.
•  Spoon a dollop of filling onto back of little cakes. And then, place other half of the cake on top of the filling to form sandwiches. Repeat with the remaining cakes.
