Ingredients
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
2 large egg whites
60 grams granulated sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup walnuts, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Whisk the egg whites until foamy in a large bowl.
- Stir the cream of tartar with the egg whites until fluffy.
- Add in 1/2 cup of sugar and vanilla extract gradually. And then, stir the remaining sugar until well blended.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped nuts.
- Shape the spoonfuls of cookie dough into 1-inch balls and place 1-inch apart on greased cookies sheet.
- Place into the preheated oven and bake it for 8-12 minutes.
- Turn the oven off and leave the meringue cookies in the oven for at least 2 hours.
- After 2 hours, remove the meringue cookies out from the oven. Enjoy it!
