Ingredients:
- 125g butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 3/4 cup castor sugar
- 3 banana's
- 3/4 cup plain-flour
- 3/4 cup self-raising-flour
- 1/2 teaspoon bi-carbonate of soda
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 1 cup macadamia nuts
Method:
- Prepare bar pan with baking paper.
- Cream butter, essence and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beat until combined.
- Stir in half mashed banana with half the sifted flour, then remaining dry ingedients with remaining banana.
- Spread mixture evenly into prepared pan.
- Press macadamia nuts into top of cake.
