Nectarine and Strawberry Parfait



Ingredients:

3/4 cup sweet white wine, such as Sauternes or sweet Riesling
1/2 cup honey
2 ripe but firm nectarines, thinly sliced
2 cups quartered hulled strawberries
1/2 cup whipping cream or heavy cream
1 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt

Directions

To do it, all you need to do is to combine honey and wine in a small sauce pan. Boil it using a medium heat for six to ten minutes until all the mixture is reduced to ½ cup. Next, add the strawberries, nectarine and ¼ cup of wine syrup. Make sure to refrigerate the remaining ¼ cup of the syrup to cool it. Then, beat the cream until the stiff peaks form. Beat the yogurt and refrigerated wine syrup. Lastly, spoon ¼ cup of yogurt-cream into every dessert glass and top it with ½ cup of fruit mixture. Repeat the process for the next layers.
