1/2 cup peach preserves
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
6 pears, peeled, cored, and sliced
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup oats
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon margarine
2 teaspoons milk
Directions
- Set the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Mix the lemon juice, ground ginger and peach in a sauce pan over an averagely high heat. Cook the mixture until the peach preserves melt. Make sure to stir well to achieve an even texture. Add pear slices and simmer it for at least five minutes.
- While waiting for the main mixture to go on a desired texture, mix the oats, brown sugar, flour, salt and cinnamon. Blend these mixtures well with margarine until everything looks like cornmeal. Add milk and toss correctly to totally combine all the ingredients.
- Pour the pear mixture into custard cups; add some oatmeal topping over the surface of the plain mixture. Put it in the oven and bake the crumble for half an hour until it turns brownish.
